Since 2002, I’ve been teaching web design and digital marketing classes to small business owners through Waukesha Country Technical College’s Small Business Center. That not only makes me really old, but it’s also given me a unique perspective on the challenges facing small business owners when it comes to using the Web and digital marketing to grow their businesses. Students often tell me that their biggest hurdle is simply trying to know what works and what doesn’t in the digital world.
That’s why I decided to start The Digital Marketing Club.
Starting in January 2019, small business people from around the Milwaukee metropolitan area will have a dedicated forum where they can bring their Web-related questions, challenges and success stories to discuss and share with their colleagues. My goal is to provide people with a casual environment where there’s never a stupid question, and participants leave with needed direction on how to enhance their web sites and social media platforms to better meet the expectations of their customers and prospects.
How Can The Club Help Me?
It’s really up to you! You can:
- Ask questions and find solutions to problems you’re having with your web site;
- Learn new approaches and discover resources for marketing your business online;
- Stay on top of technological trends and developmments;

How Much Does It Cost?
Not one red cent! The Digital Marketing Club is free thanks to the help of WCTC’s Small Business Center.
